a-mazing.heart-wrenching.awe inspiring. juz watched Passion of the Christ today, with lydia and 3 of her caregroup frenz. it was a poetic, romantist film...with many scenes, few words. the gaze, the emotions welled up. really touching movie.
heard all the accounts of friends..and that they cried during the film...haha..resolved not to do so.but i did! seeing all the welts, the suffering, the resolve not to deny God and give in to Satan. my gosh..the tears juz started..and thus, this is the first film that i actually cried.
one of his teachings: " You have heard that it was said,'Love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?"
but it was during the feast, or the last supper, that he gave his life up for his friends, for everyone of us..jee...it got my tears coming again. when He cried out whilst on the cross, for Eloi (my God), to forgive the people, for they do not know. waoz. his mercy and his grace..is really wonderful!
thinking of getting the vcd when it's out. it's one thing reading the bible and imagining the tortures He went through, but another, watching it in graphic detail. ouch factor of 10 outta 10. really glad i watched the film. have u? :)
