Gueeesssss what? My SIS is BACK!!! *laughs merrily* she's still the same lovely sister that left for UK last September. ( : She's still as beautiful, as bubbly, as cheery, as thoughtful...as I have always remembered her as. *grins* Excitment over the past 2 weeks has finally bubbled over and yup, I'm still ecstatic bout her here. Well, of coz now my cupboard space has halved back into the original area, computer usage is halved too..but it's definitely worth it. More squabbles, but more noise too. Rock on!

Oooh, and of coz, terrence (my sis's bf) is back too. SQUASH DUDE! hahahhaa... time to squash squash squash. *claps happily* all of us can hang out again, ain't that just sweet?

And 3rd piece of great news to share: Received my 1st proper acceptance letter..and that's from University of Surrey for 2nd year direct entry into Econs. Today has been one incredible event after another. ahhh..the excitment is still pounding even after an hour of gushing and laughing and.. yeah, you know. (:

Well, and I really wanted to blog bout ystday too. Yesterday was my closest girlfren's 21st birthday. Stand up and cheer please! *wolf whistles* Met her for lunch(was late..as usual :P ) went to Moonfish Seafood and Pasta Restaurant at Marina Sq for pasta, but the poor lass had some tummyache. Girlfren, I know you take awfully good care already, so telling u to take care is quite pointless. Still, I do hope such aches don't reoccur so often...

Anyway, before I move on, have to comment that basically..we just mainly/mostly did eating and drinking. Serious! After lunch, we went to TCC at Millenia Walk for coffee. Talked, shared and we moved on to suntec and visited Caesars later on in the afternoon. Afterwhich, we thronged the stretch of Clark Quay and resided there. It was lovely.
Quiet, peaceful chats..

Had dinner at Fish & Co and proceeded home rather late. Talking bout relationships, about life, personal issues and heart-to-heart sharing. Things that I won't share here but it's understandable right?

Although the day wasn't fantastic for a 21st birthday girl, still hope that she had a good time. I know I did, I really did enjoy her company.

Happy Birthday babe. May your deepest desires come true some day.

Sunday, June 11

Just spent an interesting night out ystday with my colleague, Dennis. Not the SM, but the salesguy. Why just the night? coz Saturday afternoon and evening, I spent my time bustling with the throngs of pple at orchard.

Yup, I shopped~ Intended to purchase shoes, earrings, tops, pants. *sigh* only managed to get 1 top and a pair of 3/4 pants.. 2 out of 4 ain't so bad right? Anyway. So I met Dennis to fulfill my promise of treating him ice-cream. Because on Friday, we (the bunch of colleagues) were suppose to go drinking at clark quay. Last min, my undecisive SM (he kept pushing me to name a place. And wherever I named, he rejected. So finally, I said clark quay which he agreed) had subsequently changed our watering hole there to duxton again. I didn't really fancy the place and was a lil pissed off with his undecisiveness, so I kinda wavered. Plus, Melissa could only join real late, ard 11, and desmond had to leave before 12. gosh. So anyway, I hurriedly turned down dennis's and desmond's offer to pick me up. Poor dennis, he was already about to arrive at my place! So this is why I owe him a treat.

He picked me up at shaw and we had homemade ice-cream at Sunset way..green tea w waffles. Lovely! *grins* was thoroughly sated after that, when he suggested coffee at some nice spot. Of coz I was agreeable..how could I turn down nice ambience and a good drink? So we travelled..all the way to Sembawang. Yup, you read it right.

Sembawang SAF Yacht Club. Nice restaurant by the shore, where we had our drinks. BUt wait, that's not the last spot! We still had time, and he wanted to show me his old Sembawang Canoeing club, which had been taken over & transformed into the Bottle Tree Village. Lovely restaurant resort-like place, also by the seaside. Was amazed to see the small crowd of pple happily fishing, crab-catching and bbqing. I wanna go fishing & crabbing too!!

It was really so much fun, experiencing all these delights. And the drive home was great too, coz he offered to take me fishing/crabbing, durian hunting and much more activities next time.

Awesome! I love spending my off-days like this..hahaha~ Better still if my babes can join in too. *laughs* gotta own a car next time mannn.

Well, it's been a pretty lovely week, no sudden ups or downs. lemme begin from last week saturday alright?

Saturday & Sunday:
Worked on both days, at the new branch - Textile Centre. Really ulu place, but I'm quite glad to see some familiar faces (customers) who took the time to pop down for a visit. The shop's really large and spacious, to the extent of..a little barren? Ok, maybe large spaces create an air of class and sophistication. I mean, land prices aren't low in Singapore, right? Shop's a little quieter though, but mean a dip in my commission. *shrugs* Win some, lose some. I work fewer hours, so I get to go home earlier..and a shorter journey too!

Monday:
Caught X-men 3 with my family at Suntec. Great show, didn't really disappoint, because the plot was engaging enough, with rather realistic digital animations. Thumbs up!

Tuesday:
Hmm..oh yeah! Met my 1st 3 months JC friend --Aaron.He's actually..the 1st friend I made in SRJC! hahaha.. a funny, quirky, tall guy. 4 of us (selina, stan, him & me) used to hang out abit at the earlier stages before we mixed into our classes. *sigh* i miss those days of innocent fun. But that's just another story, 1 told waaaay too many times. Haven't seen him in years! still looks as cute and cool as ever, that smart dude. Really enjoyed chatting with him, yeah.

Wednesday:
Oh..that's just yesterday! ahaha.. Had dinner with Melissa, Dennis & Desmond--porridge at Geylang. Suppose to go for some 1-for-1 buffet, but desmond was ill so..porridge it is! Yummy too~ heh. then after plenty of hemmming & hawwing..we went liang seah street & chilled at C.A.N. Cafe. The other Dennis joined in later, and the evening was a blast, with lotsa entertainment round the table. Laughed and joked and teased and.. relaxed. Poor SM had a traumatising evening when the other Den 'took advantage' by leaning in very closely. hahhahaha~~

Thursday:
That's today! Uncle Sukor sent me home this evening, had dinner with my bro..watched Saw 1, compliments of Desmond. Grossed, demented flick which at the same time, is a lil thought provoking. A disturbing film which has an interesting plot. Saw 2's just as good too.

Like I said, it wasn't a fluctuating week. ( : been getting fatter..does that count? damn. gotta eat lesser snacks! (oops. just finished a huge bag of chips by myself after dinner) *guilty* Squash Squash Squash. Wonder when will I squash again. Have quite a few tentative dates with friends and all, and with limited evenings.. *sigh* Plus i really want to have dinners at home too.

*grumbles*
