this year's ivp ended with a bang on wed. on tues, np guys team beat tp 3-2, and the girls whipped nyp 5-0. good job :) oh yes, bout wed..ntu vs nus was 1 of the impt reasons why i went. fantastic match! mun hou & ian beat nus in 2, edward & leo lost 2. with the last deciding game..darrell-the F grader vs woon kwang-the supposed B grader. was a truly fantastic & inspirational game! darrell was terrific, and he never gave up. in fact, he managed to get 2 sets from woon kwang! and he lost another one by an inch--9-10. *jeez*! but in the end...woon kwang overcame him from 4-7..to win 9-7 in the 5th set. a-mazing game. darrell the unsung heró... so who's the man? hE's the mAn!


on an ending note for ivp: i'm real glad i managed to meet up with yu xuan, now in nyp. my closest fren in srjc squash :) she looks juz as good, if not, even better. *Yay*! missed her loads...
yvonne! haha..this crazy laughable girl i got to know in last yr's ivp. still as sweet & chio as ever. but on wed...some arsehoLe stole her hp. retribution on whoever did it. yep. ahhh..& king chun..graduated and looking all gd. *grin* still as fun as ever. oh yes, & not to mention, leo, still as determined to win each game as ever. tried his bez against joel, but who can blame him for losing?


on thurs & fri, went out w ven aft school to hunt for weizhong's present--an adidas watch. even had to sacrifice squAsh! *groanz* but, it was worth it. absoLutely.


ystday(sat), celebrated weizhong's bday. made him walk from orchard ctrl station, to popular-whereby he gave the place a gd hunt, and then to kino...and we were at seoul for quite sm time waiting for him! poor guy had to leave his spot at orchard & wasn't able to admire this gd looking girl :P


did i mention tt weizhong's rich? haha..he paid for our meal at seoul! 8 of us - luke, serene, trina, ven, les, zhengjie, himself and me. bout..170++ *erpz* ate till we were bursting...and we moved on the bowling at marina, together with wai kit & hansel. had 2 great games...LuKe & vEn scored a turkey eacH! *whoa*..sweat.. been so long since i played. highest score ystday was only 109. *frowns*


bluffed weizhong tt i had a dinner appointment, & so, with les, we went to suntec to get the cake & stuff. waited at the merlion near one fullerton with serene & krystle for aGEs! they only arrived bout 1 hr later..ard..830pm. he got to unwrap his present..with goodness knows how many layers! credit here goes to ven totally :) my idea of wrapping the 2nd last layer w wrapping paper worked! haha..he thought it was the last. nah-ah..no way man. krystle bought 2 e33(which les & i did initially wanna get), and 2 diff beers*yucks* got weizhong to gulp the e33 in 1 short..with disastrous results! he was all flushed..and fish eyes--watery. we then played zhong zi mi ma..and he tio another 2 times..but it's both cider & beer mixed together & it's only a swig, so it ain't half bad. online, serene said tt on the train, he wasn't feeling too gd. oh no!


he's been a fantastic sport.. & hey, all of us had a great time!

squash ivp is more or less over this yr. and the funny thing is...i'm not even jived up for it at all! i'm definitely closer to this yr's np team(some) & with the other supporters. so we hang out together & all, but though i'm super glad to be in their company, but hey, ivp? hallo? once a yr event? *shrugz*
girls: lost to smu 2-3 and ntu 0-5. we're in either 5th & 6th placing, similarly to the guys team who lost to nus & smu but won nyp.

been hanging ard alot w beng ever since..hmm..not too sure when it all started! all those late night conversations..phone bill's gonna rocket sky higH. ystday was his sis's bday & i joined in for dinner. i'm an intruder! he makes a lousy host & i ended up asleep on his bed, on his cutesy pillow :P but i muz admit tt i make a lousy direction-giver.


had dinner w my family at prego- raffles the plaza, juz now. had linguine fruitti di mare, which wasn't fantastic...though the pizza was good. bought some pastry bout for breakfast & i can't wait to try the spinach quinche i picked.*yumz*
tomorrow...tomorrow....tomorrow...uncertain days ahead. i guess it's the challenge in life.

thought i could share all stuff w her, but guess i've been rattle-tattled on. *emotionless* but i truly deserve every ounce of the consequence. can't deny tt i was shocked, and even felt a lil betrayed...but well..like i said, the fault is nobody else's but mine. my parents were lenient in a way, and hey, it's alllll for my own good.

went on a mini movie rampage recently..and watched shows tt're downright gagglingly bORing to..surprisingly sweet & delightful. here's a short review of each.


13 going on 30
A 13 yr old girl gets her birthday wish & leaps straight to her aged 30. She learns about life, about love, about friendship & family in this romance comedy tt is easy on the eyes. The expression on her face when she wakes up & finds out tt she's a 30 yr old babe is priceless! great acting :) she's sweet, she's wonderful..she's Jennifer Garner, star of Alias. oh yeah, Mark Ruffalo isn't half bad either. ( 3 and a half stars)


Twins Effect 2
Seriously, this show is shallow. From a not-too-bad prequel- Twins Effect, it has hit rock bottom. With pop duo Twins as delectable eye-candy, this show can only be saved through gorgeous, babelicious dudes( edison c.) & babes. and jaycee chan can't act. for nuts. think i mentioned previously bout it's bad plot, bad digital effects ( even ch8 wushu, olden days effects are better!), no climax watsoever, lame attempts at jokes.. simply not even worth dling it. sorry jackie, this show stinks all the way till kingdom comes. ( half star)


A Cinderella Story
A total feel-good, gf chick flick. Hillary Duff as Sam, a hardworking girl with an optimist attitude in life. being favoured from some1 up there, she befriends Austin Aimes, the hottest guy in school through the net. Starring Jennifer Coolidge as the sultry sexy siren ( American Pie 2, Legally Blond), the main attraction is Chad Michael Murray (Tristin DuGray in Gilmore Girls). With a plot tt juz can't go wrong, this is a teenage movie tt goes down well in the company of girlfriends, plenty of chips, popcorn, sodas & comfy cushions. ( 3 and a half stars)


Garfield
Attitude cat + dumb, loving dog + animal loving sweet guy + pretty babe. awwwww..... overall, an unoriginal plot, with a few wise cracks tt have seen better days. best part in my opinion...was garfield dancing to BOP's song: Hey Momma. wat a contented fat-cat look! not tt i've got a lack of it..my cat has that same expression lotsa times. pampered, intelligent creatures. :) jennifer love hewitt still looks good! (2 and a half stars)


Anacondas: The hunt for the Blood Orchid
A total flop. At least part 1 had J.Lo in it. but hey, this has Johnny Messner! mediocre digital effects ( the snakes looked fake), it attempts & fails at building suspense. another predictable, oh-i'm-so-scared, pple getting munched up movie. Also screens Morris Chestnut ( gorgeous guy in The Brothers) but nothing beats Johnny Messner's sexy screen presence & hypnotic gaze - although he does spew lame lines & is a tad too spiffy stiff. ( 1 and a half stars)

hey, to all my frenz who were showering me with all ur concern, thank you! :) i'm really sorry tt..i can't share some things..coz they're my personal thoughts..toO private to divulge.my deepest apologies..


had a fabulous time w my 2 gfs ystday- hq & becs. had lunch at suki sushi, cine (chEap! only $12 coz becs had a voucher) and watched a Cinderalla story. what a feelgood kinda sHOw! a 100% gf chick movie. if only my prince charming coMes soon! but even if he did, i won't even know if its the right one...*shrugz* previously, i didn't know what i wanted. now...i don't want anything.


miraculously, i laid my fingers on the piano voluntarily today. i was so surprised..even my mom & sis were! it's been soo long..since sec 4, tt i played something decent on the piano. when my fingers glided across my 14yr old Richard Meyer,its like meeting an old fren again. though rusty with lack of practice, it felt great to be playing my favourite compositions like the blue danube, doll's dream and others like britney's From the Bottom of My Broken Heart & JS bach pieces. ran through a couple of scales & appegios toO, only i tripped over it quite abit. maybe if i practice hard enough, i can manage the pieces by my fav composer: Tchaikovsky. in fact..i was enjoying so much tt i even contemplated re-sitting the exam tt i failed during sec4. then my mom can be proud of me for at least something..


pretentious, hypocritical behaviour freaks me out.

had another squasH week :) had squash almost everyday..except sunday! had friendlies against nygh on fri; jjc, sji & njc on sat. had matches in total...won 4 lost 1. *argH* not pLaying well..in fact, my standard's been stagnant for so long! accidently whacked leslie today..*oucH* and i sustained another injury on my leg when i fell while playing against bz. how weak. the other schools we played with, had great slice drops, we pale in comparison. think we should all work on tt tOo. somehow..we've got so much to work on, and so little time! i needa work on my drives..it's embarrassing the way i warm up b4 the gaMe.


after an entire day of squashing on sat, we- venassa, trina, desiree, weizhong, leslie, hansel, mike went to fish & co. for dinner. met zhihao at the bus stop..and we chatted all the way to town. been a long time since we talked! at arrival, we had to wait for 30 mins before we managed to get a seat..would've died of hunger if not for mac's fries by the guys. ate up a bomb, and regained + added extra weight after that meaL!


accompanied zhengjie, serene & stephen to queensway to get their stuff on sundaY. managed to find this really nice jersey for squash! but yeah, at a price which is gonna tighten my wallet alot more. in the end, only zhengjie bought his shoes..and after tt, we juz...walked ard ikea, doodling our timE coz we had nothing eLSe to do. zj had to leave early, so serene & i proceeded to stephen's house. his room is really neat! inspiration to tidy my roOm manz.. it's unbelievably tidy. after dinner, his dad sent me hm..realised when i got hm tt i forgot to delete a msg which he may have seen! hope he doesn't read too much into it, coz i don't want to lose a fren.

well... & tt kinda rounds up my week! i've got tons of stuff to do this week..pretty much bogged down though it's e-learning week(spells: no schooL) time to start my work!


things are deteriotating..and i don't know how to salvage it. maybe i don't? what a dilemma.
