*wails*

Folks..I know it's been ages since you've last seen me, but trust me, you will miss the old me, because I have transformed into an unlovely huge ba-zhang! : yes, it's true! and though I absolutely loathe the idea of it, i must..resort to a diet.

me and my foodalicious mouth must say stop to the tempting array of yummy food that singapore offers: melty chocolate mudpies, smooth creamy lucious cheesecakes, lovely fried carrot cakes and not to mention, the crunchy crisps and delectable choclates that supermarkets display so wantonly infront of my all-seeing eyes.

So, thus it has reached this stage. WhAt happened to my rather high metabolism rate?! with a lack of ANY exercise, i think it disappeared as well, without taking my huge appetite. Oh well, gotta find ways to whet my appetite. *sigh* my friends, wish me luck as i undertake this monstrous, unbearable task.

But suffer alone i must, for i alone am responsible for this state.

*sigh*

feels good to be back once more, typing a whole shit load of emotions into a webpage.
Have rarely chanced upon my blog nowadays..not too sure if it's a flittering interest or just simply because i dislike my blogskin! I think it's the latter, so girls and boys can soon spot the new skin.

I trust most of you had a lovely christmas? Before you bemoan and groan about a short holiday or whatnot, lemme first state that I have a couple of friends who had a lousy one, because they're tucked away into that delectable NS camp of theirs, on duty. how terrible! Mine is LOADS & HeapS better than theirs, thankfully.

I watched The Chronicles of Narnia on saturday with my bro. IT IS FANTABULOUS. I'm not exaggerating! It is really terrific..go catch it! You Must!

Anyway, Had a lovely potluck/ christmas celebration with my gfs and my gf's bfs yesterday, at my place. had lotsa yummy food and great company. tensions were a lil strung for a brief moment, but it started and ended well. I'm really glad for one, that we had this potluck, simply because we rarely meet up (except for birthdays and special festivals), and because we're always tucked away in some restaurant. so hey, potlucks can be fun too! And a good thing is that it's beside the pool, so we kinda played in the pool for quite awhile. *smiles*

My boss..yes, that hunkalicious one, is returning to UK. *sigh* he's a really good boss. Takes the initiative to talk to the colleagues, not only his subordinates, but other small fry as well. He has a great sense of humour, and I can really relate to him. We discussed subjects such as religion, trafalgar war, war in china, vietnam, the difference btw british isles, UK & Great Britain (which I kinda forgot. : X)

The point is, he's a really terrific boss. Flexible, spontaneous, gearing for improvements and can relate to people well. He's a really good man manager who cares for his colleagues. will miss him loads. not to discriminate, but i feel that asian bosses...rarely hit that mark. the rest simply won't be able to measure up, because the standard he set was so high! I sincerely hope the next manager will be good. truly so.

oh my gosh. NEVER have I seen with my bespectacled eyes a truer case of Brains OR Brawn. Lemme share with you the scenario. Alright, go ahead and blame me if i constantly meet up with dumb people in my line of work at my part-time job. (amazing, isn't it? with such a high literacy rate in Singapore, u'll think that stupid comments and questions should be lower. but well, we measure education rate, not Common sense Or logic. *shrugs)

anyway, my fren popped by, with his ns fren who likes sharp swords. had an interesting exchange with that guy and gleefully managed to put him down. *laughs sardonically* not often that i can out-speak a guy.

well, but it's not about him. it's about my fren's fren's fren. hahaha..confusing? kinda. just a brawny aussie educated lad (the guy i out-talked was also aussie)..asked me if i would stop him if he just grabbed our store product and ran out. DuH! I'll just grab the longest, sturdiest weapon and knock him out. And if he beats me up? I'll just lodge a case against him. This IS afterall, Singapore. Plus, he's a fren of my fren's. How easy can it be to identify him?! super easy. Does he think it's smart to ask such a dumb-ass question? classic case of either Brains OR Brawn. It's a trade-off in his case, I'm sorry to say.

Met more dumb people, dumb couples, dumb teenagers who ask the weirdest, illogical questions that just require an ounce of common sense. Apparently, they don't. Is it me who just think so, or do a large proportion of people who love to occupy busy retail employees' time by asking brainless questions? or show off their knowledge by sprouting non-sensical information to their spouses (note: boyfriends/husbands to their girlfriends/wives). Is it ego that causes them to do as such? *slaps my forehead in disdain*

All in all, my day at work ended well, because of the guy who i out-talked. Scooped up a rare precious moment..a priceless moment when I shot him back with a phrase..and he just paused and hesitated to think over to find something to retort. And failed.

*smiles* What a day. What a Beautiful Day.
