went on a mini movie rampage recently..and watched shows tt're downright gagglingly bORing to..surprisingly sweet & delightful. here's a short review of each.


13 going on 30
A 13 yr old girl gets her birthday wish & leaps straight to her aged 30. She learns about life, about love, about friendship & family in this romance comedy tt is easy on the eyes. The expression on her face when she wakes up & finds out tt she's a 30 yr old babe is priceless! great acting :) she's sweet, she's wonderful..she's Jennifer Garner, star of Alias. oh yeah, Mark Ruffalo isn't half bad either. ( 3 and a half stars)


Twins Effect 2
Seriously, this show is shallow. From a not-too-bad prequel- Twins Effect, it has hit rock bottom. With pop duo Twins as delectable eye-candy, this show can only be saved through gorgeous, babelicious dudes( edison c.) & babes. and jaycee chan can't act. for nuts. think i mentioned previously bout it's bad plot, bad digital effects ( even ch8 wushu, olden days effects are better!), no climax watsoever, lame attempts at jokes.. simply not even worth dling it. sorry jackie, this show stinks all the way till kingdom comes. ( half star)


A Cinderella Story
A total feel-good, gf chick flick. Hillary Duff as Sam, a hardworking girl with an optimist attitude in life. being favoured from some1 up there, she befriends Austin Aimes, the hottest guy in school through the net. Starring Jennifer Coolidge as the sultry sexy siren ( American Pie 2, Legally Blond), the main attraction is Chad Michael Murray (Tristin DuGray in Gilmore Girls). With a plot tt juz can't go wrong, this is a teenage movie tt goes down well in the company of girlfriends, plenty of chips, popcorn, sodas & comfy cushions. ( 3 and a half stars)


Garfield
Attitude cat + dumb, loving dog + animal loving sweet guy + pretty babe. awwwww..... overall, an unoriginal plot, with a few wise cracks tt have seen better days. best part in my opinion...was garfield dancing to BOP's song: Hey Momma. wat a contented fat-cat look! not tt i've got a lack of it..my cat has that same expression lotsa times. pampered, intelligent creatures. :) jennifer love hewitt still looks good! (2 and a half stars)


Anacondas: The hunt for the Blood Orchid
A total flop. At least part 1 had J.Lo in it. but hey, this has Johnny Messner! mediocre digital effects ( the snakes looked fake), it attempts & fails at building suspense. another predictable, oh-i'm-so-scared, pple getting munched up movie. Also screens Morris Chestnut ( gorgeous guy in The Brothers) but nothing beats Johnny Messner's sexy screen presence & hypnotic gaze - although he does spew lame lines & is a tad too spiffy stiff. ( 1 and a half stars)
