So. in the midst of our Chocolate Freckles Peak (once again!), we had a rather interesting discovery. But. first, i'll show you how we reached that conclusion. Below is a summary of the conversation btw Becs-B, Hq & me. Maybe it was under the influence of utterly sinful fudgey chocolate with cookies.. but...well, here goes!


i commented on how although we RECJ association are meeting up more regularly, a member has been rarely attending. and yada yada yada..working at nyp + tuition, earning 2k a month..
and then we moved on to the number of rejections she gave to her bf. somehow, the conversation shifted slightly, and hq shared this book 'Why Men are from Venus & Women from Mars'. It says that guys like to look at ladies with long, slim legs..reason being? : looking from the bottom up, the real reason is the area where the legs conjoins. *groans* guys.


anyway, so then we moved on to sextology, how this guy is so good with the history of sex, & how pple in the victorian times make out without removing their clothes. i mean..look at the layers of clothing! if they're sleeping at 10, the lady has to retire first at 9, and start peeling the layers of clothes off.. just so that she'll be ready at 10. golly gee. imagine how the guy will feel if he's gotta wait for an entire hour. *lifts an eyebrow*


progressing on, hq remarked that victorian ladies had this strange string garmet for the upper torso tied at the back, which was a corset. and becs couldn't help but pity them and envy them for their fantastic bods. slim and shapely. (secretly, i couldn't agree more) turns out, these ladies had their bladder pushed downwards due to the tight corset. basically, they have weak bladders from the constant pressure.


WHICH led to my conclusion that Victorian Ladies sipped their tea not only out of delicacy & the steaming hot liquid, it is also to prolong their consumption of liquid so as not to rush to the WC every half an hour!


*laughs* amazing how a comment of the regular absence of a member can lead to the discovery of why victorian ladies sip their tea!
