I'm beginning to hate Blogspot quite abit.. it kicks up a real fuss whenever I try to edit my posts to adjust my photos etc. Puts me in a fix every single time!

Anyhow, hope this works out just fine, i'll just keep my toes crossed for now (fingers are busy typing)

Basically, wanna catch back a little about my christmas hols.. was really quiet, if you wanna know :X

Hmmm.... And I think I shall dedicate this post to FOOOOOD! Mostly home-cooked, except for the Jap/Korean restaurant at Leicester Sq and the Korean restaurant at Oxford st.

First-off, I didn't roast turkey this year for christmas either (too big, too ex!), so i did a roast chicken instead. and it turned out just fine! And yummy too~

Simple Christmas dinner of Roast Chicken with sage & onion stuffing, brussel sprouts, minestrone soup, mixed lettuce, chips and smileys :D oh, plus a lovely delicate white wine to wash our dinner down with.

Just to clarify, I did the food arrangements on my plate first, then Jacky copied me with his lil basketball smiley figure!

Left: Jap/Korean Restaurant at Leicester Sq. Jacky & I ordered hot sake along with our bento, and the beverage came in the cutest little flask!

Right: Side-dishes at this delectable Korean restaurant along Oxford st. It's opposite.... crap. I forgot the building's name.. gotta ask Jaesu again. But it serves really good korean food. (: U can tell how good it is, because when the main couse came, it smelt so good that Jacky & I totally forgot to snap any photos til we're halfway done!--which is kinda too late. my bad!

Home-cooked! well.. cooked by me, basically.

Left: My 1st attempt ever, at Okonomiyaki. Well, considering that I've never really eaten a proper one before, you're right if you guessed that it wasn't too good. Still, I'll definitely try again another day to make a better one! (Flour, Water, Eggs, Cabbage, Crabsticks, Spring Onion, Jap Sweet sauce)

Right: Toad in the Hole, with onion gravy(in the saucepan). A definite success : D

Followed according to the recipe I took from Maine~ yummy!

Haven't blogged for ages, due to the tight time schedule and the website's adamant refusal to allow me to sign in!

Anyhowww.. just wanna share some of the stuff i've been doing recently.

Last saturday, we went to Portobello Market (a flea market) and Grenwich (GMT) for some sightseeing~

According to dear old jacky, portobello market used to be pretty undeveloped with loads of hidden authentic antiques. Unfortunately, it's pretty commercialised now, and there're tons of imitations. Nonetheless, I snapped some pretty things, so here they are!

Grenwich

(Left) Went to Grenwich and saw this really cute/cool race car. pity bout the shadow from the sun though.. it really roared its way down the street!
(Right) Couldn't find this really yummalicious famous pie place - probably closed down its biz already. Had indian food instead. Mmmmm.. Indian Food!

(Right) Digitalised timer that blinks so fast, you can't even catch with the naked eye. But my smart lil camera did!

(Left) Absolutely love chained watchs. Totally salivate at the sight of gorgeous watches.. the fine mechanisms, the little ticking gears. Ain't they such a sight? Wish I could own 1!

Snapped the 1st pic but realised it's rather..RA! *giggles* For those smartie peeps out there, you're absolutely right. it's a PUBLIC URINAL. Right outside the theatre, beside the road!

The lovely day around Portobello Market & Grenwich proceeded with a Jap dinner with Wanfang at Leicester Sq. And after that? Yummy deserts at Bar Ciao.
Awww... look at how my 2 buddies enjoyed themselves? so sweet.. and so gay! (read:gay - happy) *laughs* they'll probably kill me now that i've put this photo up.
